We withdrawn our 2026 NC Open Tournament prize money from Edward Jones $600.00. Edward Jones doesn't have an annual fee but they historically perform less yield on the principal than RBC (Royal Bank of Canada - Investment Services Group, RBC Wealth Management), like 4% vs 8% and RBC $600.00 plus $100 to go for the account fee in October, but only $600 was transfer to Oak Ridge Bank. So total RBC was $700.00  because we didn't get any large contribution. (Larry Keen gave $200 and Joe McDaniel via ACF Richard Beckwith gave $200 to prize fund)  Each year RBC charges $100 fee, which can be paid or it is automatically deducted or debit from the account. I will note Edward Jones did out perform RBC in 2025, we'll see what happens in 2026.   2026 NC Open Budget

I also want to note that NCCA committed to sponsor and host the 11-Man WTM (GM Alexander Moiseyev and challenger Crispin “Goj” Ojwang) in January 2026 at the Quality Inn in Archdale, NC. The dates were postponed to January 17-23, 2027 -  2027 11-Man WTM. NCCA committed to providing 4 rooms, playing room & dinner meals for 4 days ($1,800). I collected contributions: Jeannie McDaniel $1,000, Ryan Pronk $500 which he will pay later, and Dr. William C. Schuma $100.  I deposited Schuma's $100 in Oak Ridge. I applied McDaniel's $1K + WC Green Fund balance to Southern.
